Jordan Henderson exit 'explained'
While The Athletic reports that Liverpool midfielder Fabinho's move to Saudi Arabia could be in doubt, Jordan Henderson has said his goodbyes to his Reds teammates ahead of his own switch being confirmed.
The Daily Mail reports that the 33-year-old has agreed a three-year mega-money contract and has undergone a medical examination with confirmation expected this week.

The reason for Henderson leaving is said to be that he spoke 'at length' with Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp about his role in the team and came to the conclusion that he would not have the role that he wanted.
With Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai already signed this summer and more players to come in (Roméo Lavia appears to be the next one in the queue), Henderson would be a little down the pecking order but he would still have got plenty of chances.
Henderson also spoke to England manager Gareth Southgate about what his England future could look like if he moved to the Saudi Pro League with a European Championships following the end of the coming campaign.
Roméo Lavia transfer demands outlined
Liverpool has made an opening offer worth $48m (£37m/€43m) for Southampton midfielder Roméo Lavia, with The Athletic reporting that the Championship side is hoping to get as close as possible to its full $64m (£50m/€58m) valuation.
It seems likely that a compromise can be reached and it is understood that personal terms will not be an issue in the transfer going through. Lavia is open to the move and despite interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, Liverpool is the clear favorite.
Jürgen Klopp said over the weekend that Liverpool would get more signings through the door this summer and it seems that work is starting to come together on the next deal.
Lavia would be an excellent addition but if Fabinho was to depart, then Liverpool would need another midfielder to come in as well as the young Belgian, even though Thiago Alcântara and Stefan Bajčetić are both edging closer to a return from injury.
